How a virtual pet teaches care (without the drama)

Every parent has heard the request for a pet — and has asked the question back: "but who is going to take care of it?". Tame is a way to rehearse that answer.

A real routine

The pet has hunger, sleep, baths and a mood that change with real time. Caring for it is not mashing a button: it is building a routine — in the morning before school, at night before bed.

Consequence without cruelty

In many classic games, forgetting your pet meant its death. In Tame we decided differently: a badly neglected pet leaves and lays an egg, which inherits its name, part of its memories, and starts over. The lesson about responsibility stays; the trauma does not.

Discipline inside the game

Tantrums happen (as in real life). Whether to discipline or spoil is the caretaker's choice — and it shapes the pet's personality. There is even school: the pet studies, graduates and picks a career based on the habits you encouraged.

All of it with a persona written for children — and with no ads.
