The wide scene is now free, for everyone

Almost every Tame scene fits on one screen. The wide room does not: it is three times wider, and the camera follows your pet as it wanders.

It began as a test scene. When we built horizontal scrolling, we needed somewhere big enough to watch the camera get it wrong — and it got it wrong plenty at first. The plan was to lock it away.

We changed our minds: the wide room is free for everyone, from day one.

Why

Explaining "a wide scene with a camera that follows your pet" in a store listing does not work. You have to watch the pet walk off the edge and see the camera chase it. Charging for something nobody has understood yet is a bad trade.

So the wide room is the sample. If you like the feeling, the really big scenes are in the shop — the loft with a mezzanine (your pet climbs the stairs and sleeps in the bed up there), the beach house, and the mansion, which is ten screens across.

What changes in the game

No catch, and no "free for a limited time". It is one more scene in everyone's game.
